SxNE — About Us
About SxNE

We Didn't Start With a Pitch Deck.
We Started With a Broken System.

SxNE was founded by a team of enterprise SaaS veterans who were brought in to fix what a global CPG company's existing AI and data vendors couldn't. What we built to solve that problem became the foundation of everything we do today.

"The human challenge of understanding AI capabilities — and determining how to integrate agents that enhance employees rather than replace them — is the biggest obstacle we help companies overcome. Our technical foundation makes implementation the easiest part of our clients' projects." — Colin, CEO, South by Northeast

The Origin Story

A Global CPG Brand. Four Years of Broken Data. One Call That Changed Everything.

A major global CPG company had been running brand sites, promotions, and digital loyalty programs for four years. On paper, the stack looked modern — a CDP, a CRM, an offer management system, email platforms, POS integrations. In practice, it was held together with assumptions and hope.

Data feeds broke silently. Nobody noticed for weeks. There was no reliable picture of who their customers actually were, and no way to connect digital engagement to in-store behavior. The marketing team spent more time reconciling vendor data than running campaigns.

They called us to fix it. What we found was a fragmented architecture where over 20 systems were loosely integrated, none of them authoritative. We didn't patch it — we rebuilt it. A new CDP at the center for data orchestration. A proprietary framework for processing and standardizing data in real time. AI agents to monitor anomalies and surface issues before they compounded. And the first ML cohort models the brand had ever used for segmentation — models that discovered who their customers actually were, not who someone assumed they were.

We also used AI-assisted development to rebuild their entire API layer for offer management from the ground up. What had taken months of manual reconciliation became a real-time, automated system. The marketing team was freed to do marketing.

The results from the first pilot deployment — the Offer Authority platform across two US markets — validated everything. And it told us something else: every marketing organization we'd ever worked with had a version of this problem. That's why SxNE exists.

6,042
Loyalty Members Engaged

Across Arkansas and North Carolina in the first pilot deployment — 44.9% and 42.9% engagement rates respectively.

9.1%
Claim-to-Redemption Rate

North Carolina market, 5 days post-launch. 64–73% of redemptions happened the same day as the claim — zero friction.

20+
Systems Integrated

Across all SxNE engagements to date — every integration built natively with agentic support baked in from day one.

10+
Marketing Systems Built

Spanning CDP implementations, offer management platforms, ML segmentation models, and full API layers.

What We Built

We Didn't Just Consult. We Shipped.

When we were brought in, the answer wasn't a new strategy document or a vendor recommendation. The answer was to build — from scratch, with our own hands — the architecture this organization should have had from the start.

Every member of the SxNE team is an operator. We average over 20 years of combined experience across the disciplines that matter for this work — and nothing we build is offshored or outsourced. If it has our name on it, we built it.

Unified CDP Architecture

Rebuilt the data orchestration layer from the ground up — one authoritative source replacing five fragmented systems.

Full API Layer Rebuild

Used AI-assisted development to rebuild the entire offer management API — direct vendor integrations, zero manual reconciliation.

Real-Time Data Agents

Deployed quality monitoring agents that catch anomalies as they happen — not in the next Monday morning BI review.

First ML Cohort Models

Built the brand's first unbiased customer segmentation — ML-derived cohorts that revealed who their customers actually were.

Senior Operators. All Five. No Exceptions.

SxNE is a deliberately small, deliberately senior team. Five practitioners with an average of 10+ years of senior leadership experience each — covering every discipline required to take a marketing data engagement from audit to production. No junior delivery. No handoffs. The people who scope your project are the people who build it.

The Principles We Won't Compromise On.

These aren't values we wrote for a website. They're the lessons we learned building real systems for real marketing organizations — often by watching other vendors get them wrong.

01

Implementation Is the Hard Part. Own It.

Strategy without implementation is just a deck. We do both — and we stay through deployment, integration, and the first time something breaks at 2am. Our technical foundation exists precisely so that execution never becomes the client's problem.

02

Your Data Is the Product. Treat It That Way.

AI agents are only as intelligent as the data they run on. Before we write a single line of model code, we make the data trustworthy. This is the step most vendors skip. It's the first thing we do on every engagement.

03

AI Should Enhance People — Not Replace Them.

The best outcome of any SxNE engagement is a marketing team freed from data janitor work, focused entirely on strategy and campaigns. Agents handle the monitoring, the anomaly detection, the reconciliation. People handle the decisions.

04

Generic Solutions Are Someone Else's Problem.

We don't sell platforms. We don't have a one-size product we're trying to fit your organization into. Every engagement starts with your actual data, your actual stack, and your actual problems. The solution is built for you.

05

Senior People Do the Work. Full Stop.

The team that scopes your engagement builds your system. Nobody is offshore. Nobody is a subcontractor. You get the same five practitioners from kickoff to go-live — people who have done this work before and know exactly where it breaks.

06

Prove It With Data, Not Promises.

We measure everything. From the first data audit through pilot deployment, every decision we make is grounded in what the data actually shows — not what a vendor dashboard makes look good. Our clients see the same numbers we do.

We're Not the AI Vendor You've Already Tried.

The market is full of platforms, tools, and consultancies that will take your budget, hand you a login, and call it an implementation. We've spent our careers watching that model fail. SxNE was built specifically as the alternative.

Typical AI Vendor

Sells you a platform license and schedules onboarding calls

Leaves the hard integration work as "professional services" billed separately

Assigns a junior delivery team once the contract is signed

Builds generic agents that don't account for the state of your data

Declares success when the software is installed, not when it performs

Offshore or outsourced delivery with layers of project management

SxNE

Starts with a full audit of your data, stack, and actual business problems

Handles every integration, API build, and system connection ourselves

The senior operators who scope your project build and manage it

Builds agents calibrated specifically to your data quality and marketing objectives

Stays engaged through deployment, optimization, and ongoing performance

Five practitioners. All onshore. Nothing outsourced. Ever.
